Composite Materials - Your specialist for the controlled production of thermosetting moulding compounds

At Lehmann&Voss&Co., we have been supporting the development of SMC/BMC technology since its beginnings. Our LUVATOL® magnesium oxide thickening pastes enable our customers' production processes to be controlled individually and with pinpoint precision. The Composite Materials business team additionally has a large number of special products for thermosetting compounds, such as TRENNFILM carrier foils for SMC and relining applications as well as a wide variety of additives for process control and product finishing. These include a broad range of LUVOGARD flame-retardant additives for reaction resins, PVC plastisols and textile coatings as well as LUVATINE dispersing agents for highly filled resin dispersions and the internal release agents of the LUVOTRENT series for diverse applications.

Since 2010, the Composite Materials business team has been supplying a broad range of high-quality and innovative products for vacuum infusion technology.

  • PEEL PLY products based on PA 6.6 guarantee an optimum surface finish
  • BLUE 21 expoxy adhesive spray for easy fixing of the glass mat into the mould
  • COMBIMESH flow-enhancer composite combines several working operations in one product
  • TRENNFILM P coextruded polyamide film with widths of up to 3000 mm


New brand message "We LuV it."

“We LuV it.” – That is our new brand message. On the occasion of our company’s 125th anniversary this year, LEHVOSS is putting more emphasis than ever on its passion and closeness to customers as core elements of the brand.

The new brand message, which both originates from and complements the corporate logo, distinguishes the LEHVOSS Group by placing more focus on emotional and interpersonal aspects.
Although communication in the chemical and technical industries is typically matter-of-fact, the Group has consciously embraced this new approach. Alongside quality and high technical competence, the communication shifts its focus to the closeness to customers, partners and employees, as well as partnership and passion practiced in the company. The new brand message “We LuV it.” is vividly illustrated in the image film above. 
From now on, the brand message will be applied consistently in all the company’s internal and external communication tools. This will help to further promote the culture of appreciation and respect that has been practised in the family business for years and to make it visible to the public.
